Each spring, the NCACC hosts a series of District Meetings throughout the state. The meetings offer county commissioners and management staff an opportunity to learn about the latest legislative developments in Raleigh, to share information from their conversations with legislators, to network with officials from other counties, and to learn about the latest NCACC programs and services that benefit counties.
To defer the cost of these meetings and allow all commissioners to attend free of charge, three $1000 sponsorships are allowed for each of the six meetings. Sponsors are introduced at the beginning of the evening and given an opportunity to show a short video and/or brief presentation at the beginning of the agenda while dining with county commissioners and managers that are in attendance. There will be audio/visual equipment that can be used to display media during the presentation, if needed.
